HINGED JOINT BEARINGS

GE type swivel bearings (joint bearings) are sliding bearings designed to carry large radial loads and, depending on the design, also axial loads, while compensating for misalignment and angular deviations. Their construction is based on an outer ring with a concave inner surface and an inner ring with a spherical surface, allowing for oscillating movement and deflections in multiple planes.

GE type bearings are produced in versions requiring lubrication (steel/steel) and maintenance-free versions, with a sliding layer made of composite materials such as PTFE. They are characterized by high mechanical strength, impact resistance, and the ability to operate in harsh operating conditions. They are commonly used in construction machinery, agricultural equipment, hydraulic actuators, suspension systems, and in industrial structures where durability, precision guidance, and compensation for misalignment are required.
