BS/EU type washers made of PTFE are composite sliding bushings designed for operation under high loads and limited or completely eliminated lubrication. Their construction is based on a steel load-bearing substrate, a layer of porous bronze, and a sliding layer made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), which provides a very low coefficient of friction and high wear resistance.

Thanks to the use of PTFE, BS/EU bushings can operate dry, maintaining smooth movement and stable operating parameters even under variable loads.
