Sintered bronze bushes are sliding bearing elements manufactured using powder metallurgy as a sinter of powdered bronze impregnated with oil. Thanks to the porous structure of the material, oil is stored inside the bush and gradually released during operation, providing a self-lubricating effect and allowing their use in mechanisms where lubrication is difficult or limited. These bushes are designed for operation in harsh conditions, characterized by high wear resistance, dimensional stability, and the ability to carry very large loads. They are used, among others, in rotating small electrical devices, in automotive applications in generators, alternators, and other components requiring durable and reliable sliding bearings.
