Sliding bearings of type BRM, i.e. bronze bushings are made of bronze strip (Cu 91.3%, Sn 8.5%) with diamond-shaped lubricant pockets. Sliding bushings with or without a flange are designed for operation in harsh conditions, have high wear resistance, and can carry high loads. Operating range -100°C to +200°C. Bearings require lubrication and can operate in rotary, oscillating, or reciprocating motion. The sliding bearing is characterized by high strength and is most commonly used in construction machinery, hoists, switches, etc. The dimensional series is as in the table or according to the drawing.
